A bit about me

I finally got my allotment back in March 2010 after 6 years waiting. Previously I had merely dabbled with herbs in pots and speedy salads in baking trays and couldn't wait to start learning. 

It is an ongoing process involving trial and error (hopefully less of the latter) and often ends up with massive gluts and conspicuous consumption. 

Which is fine as I am an enthusiastic (rather than skilled) cook and can be counted on to over cater for any occasion.

A fan of Italian food, I adore big flavours and favour a more 'rustic' presentation style (ie I can't plate up tidily).

I live in South East London and love creating a tiny bit of countryside in our urban jungle (which I also love in its sometimes dirty and muddled state)
